Thinking what others think about you?

What he/she would think if I do this? How will society react if I wear this or do that? Should I care about what others think about me?

These questions keep on pondering the mind. We are the slaves of our thoughts. As said by Eleanor Roosevelt - “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

We get worried about others opinion for me, we want others to feel for us. But why does others opinion matter a lot to us, more importantly when we don't even know them? It feels like the remote our lives is in someone else's hands. Why let your emotions or activities be affected by others thinking? Think..

Remember you can't please everyone and don't even try to do that. It a Joker's work to please everyone, focus on what you want to do, there will be always a set of critical group who will point towards you. Don't get blown off by it, keep on rolling.

So does that mean we shouldn't care at all what other think of us?

I am not buying the fact that stop caring about what others think about us, but be rational and make a fine line between worrying and over-worrying.

Thinking what others think about us, keeps us in limit and challenges us to do better. Doing what we like to do and thinking "I DON'T CARE" is a sort of hallucination that we pose on ourselves defending our deeds and consoling our mind and heart.

"I DON'T CARE" attitude might give us confidence but we know somewhere in the back of your mind, if we are doing it right or wrong. If we stop caring at all instances then, then we might be closing the doors to change our lives and reach new heights.

Don't stop yourself from doing or trying new things, if they are not wrong or doing harm to anyone. Society at first might be against you as changes are always welcomed with reluctance but if you are right it will pay off. The important thing here is not to distract yourself with the noise and keep learning and growing.

Don't think. Thinking is the enemy of creativity. It's self-conscious, and anything self-conscious is lousy. You can't try to do things. You simply must do things. - Ray Bradbury
