The pain of being ignored

Being ignored is that terrible feeling that keeps on digging the heart every second. You feel like that you are not being counted and that painful feeling leads to frustration and being sad. For some the greatest pain in life is not to die but the pain of being ignored. You love some one, do something with pure feelings, care someone  and then you realize you are not being counted. It's killing!

Ignoring someone is a control mechanism and is done purposely for many reasons, obviously not all of them are meant to hurt someone but yes, mostly it hurts consciously or unconsciously.

Everyone wants attention, even a small child seeks attention from his parents. But the question is  - Does being ignored is 'really' so painful?

Remember - Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond to it.

There is no doubt no one likes rejection, but how you handle it, more importantly defines how you feel about it. First of all stop feeling sorry about yourself and feeling neglected, as this won't help you anyways and moreover you are pushing yourself deep down under the quick sand.

Keep your head high and believe you are unique, the other person wants to hurt you by ignoring you and you are helping him achieve his goal by feeling dejected.

As rightly said by Charles Dickens - "Suffering has been stronger than all other teaching, and has taught me to understand what your heart used to be. I have been bent and broken, but - I hope - into a better shape."

Never Give Up!

Trust me every suffering and pain makes you stronger, when you will come out of the situation, you will be a much matured guy with a strong heart. Its true that being ignored is the most frustrating and annoying thing but remember - "They can't hurt you unless you let them to".

There is no point of cursing yourself and spoiling those precious moments of life, just because you needed someone's importance but you are being ignored.

Behave like you are not being affected at all, this will kill them. Keep a smile on your face and remember you have got one small life and you have to enjoy that.

With heads high, Keep walking...
