Always give good to others: Motivational message

A person can only give what he has and what you give comes back to you. Try to make this world beautiful and give good things to others. Here is one short story that tells how giving good to others is important.

One of the best messages.

Back in the days when Germany was divided, a huge wall separated East and West Berlin. One day, some people in East Berlin took a truck load of garbage and dumped it on the West Berlin side.
The people of West Berlin could have done the same thing, but they didn't. Instead they took a truck load of canned goods, bread, milk and other provisions, and neatly stacked it on the East Berlin side.
On top of this stack they placed the sign:

*“EACH GIVES WHAT HE HAS"*

How very true! You can only give what you have.
My dear friend, what do you have inside of you? Is it hate or love? Violence or peace? Death or life?
What have you acquired over the years?
Is it capacity to build or capacity to destroy?

Is it ability to make money or steal money?
Is it ingenuity to develop good things that will benefit mankind or ability to bomb those good things that others have labored to build?

Want to be successful overnight? Here's is how..

Read the motivational story of John Hanke on how he succeeded to be successful overnight..

How long does it take to create an overnight success? For John Hanke it’s taken him 20 years to create Pokémon Go.

This week, the Pokémon Go app has broken all records, with 10 million+ downloads in the first week, exceeding Twitter in daily active users, and with higher average user time than Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram & WhatsApp.

How did John Hanke create such a massive overnight craze? Here’s the 10 times he levelled up in his lifetime to reach Pokémon Go:

1st Level up: In 1996, while still a student, John co-created the very first MMO (massively multiplayer online game) called ‘Meridian 59’. He sold the game to 3DO to move on to a bigger passion: mapping the world.

2nd Level up: In 2000, John launched ‘Keyhole’ to come up with a way to link maps with aerial photography, and create the first online, GPS-linked 3D aerial map of the world.

3rd Level up: In 2004, Google bought Keyhole and with John’s help, turned Keyhole into what is now ‘Google Earth’. That’s when John decided to focus at creating GPS-based games.

4th Level up: John ran the Google Geo team from 2004 to 2010, creating Google Maps and Google Street View. During this time, he collected the team that would later create Pokémon Go.

5th Level up: In 2010, John launched Niantic Labs as a start-up funded by Google to create a game layer on maps. John explains why he called it Niantic:

“The Niantic is the name of a whaling ship that came up during the gold rush and through a variety of circumstances got dragged on shore. This happened with other ships, too. Over the years, San Francisco was basically just built over these ships. You could stand on top of them now, and you wouldn't know it. So it's this idea that there's stuff about the world that's really cool but even though it's on the Internet, it's hard to know when you're actually there.”

6th Level up: In 2012, John then created Niantic’s first geo-based MMO, “ingress”:

John explains: “In the case of Ingress the activity is layered on top of the real world and on your phone. The inspiration was that it was something that I always used to daydream about while I was commuting back and forth from home to Google."

"I always thought you could make an awesome game using all the Geo data that we have. I watched phones become more and more powerful and I thought the time would come that you could do a really awesome real-world adventure-based game.”

7th Level up: In 2014, Google and the Pokémon Company teamed up for an April Fools’ Day joke, which allowed viewers to find Pokémon creatures on Google maps. It was a viral hit, and got John thinking the idea could be turned into a real game.

8th Level up: John decided to build Pokémon Go on the user-generated meeting points created by players of Ingress, and the most popular became the Pokéstops and gyms in Pokémon Go:

As John says, ”The Pokéstops are submitted by users, so obviously they're based on places people go. We had essentially two and a half years of people going to all the places where they thought they should be able to play Ingress, so it's some pretty remote places. There are portals in Antartica and the North Pole, and most points in between.”

9th Level up: John raised $25 million from Google, Nintendo, the Pokémon Company and other investors from Dec 2015 to Feb 2016 to grow a team of 40+ to launch Pokémon Go this year.

10th Level: John and his team launched Pokémon Go on July 6th in USA, Australia and New Zealand. Since its launch, Nintendo’s share price has risen $12 billion, and the app is already generating over $2 million daily in in-app purchases, making it an overnight phenomenon.

The overnight success of Pokémon Go has taken John Hanke 20 years to create. Throughout these 20 years, while he had a big vision of a game layer over the world, he didn’t know what form it would take. At every step, he just focused at his next level up.

At each new level, he had new powers, new team members, and new items in his inventory…

Are you, like John, treating your own entrepreneurial journey like one big MMO?

Keep the end in mind, but focus today on simply levelling up.

At every level, grow your powers, your team, and your luck.

And know it takes many levels to win the game.

“It takes 20 years to make an overnight success.” ~ Eddie Cantor

5 ways to develop a positive attitude and stop complaining

Everyone wants to be happy and successful in life. But most people are not! Many people act like victims and feel that everything is against them and they are struck somewhere.
Whatever may be the reason; people who act like victims are often depressed, feel negative and sorry for their fate. They can even be aggressive to others and with themselves as well. Unfortunately, this is a terrible vicious circle. They tend to blame others and feel pity about themselves.
What you need? You need to develop a positive attitude – a positive outlook towards the things around you. It is that moment where you start your way towards a happier life. I would also say, that if you have a positive attitude then it’s almost impossible to return a vicious circle.

Everyone has goals and aspirations in life. To be able to achieve the goals, you must have the right tools. Although some tools require special skills in certain areas, but most powerful ways are often the simplest ones.

A positive mental attitude is one of these powerful tools, and can be used to achieve your dreams and greatest desires in life. There are five aspects to be taken into account to obtain a positive outlook in life. Here is a short summary of these five characteristics, and some easy to apply tips for you to be on top in each of these areas and help you change your attitude easily.

1. Health
2. Perspective
3. Gratitude
4. Social Environment
5. Mood

1. Health - you are what you eat

I cannot stress enough the importance of living a healthy life. Seriously, if you still feel tired, hungry, weak, there is a good chance that you are not very positive! Healthy living involves a good diet and physical exercise: you need both to feel good.

By drinking a lot of coffee or energy drinks (Red Bul ...) and eating too many sugary foods, your energy and your mood will suffer larger variations. Try replacing sweets with fresh fruit. Eating healthy products without dyes, preservatives and other added products will help you maintain a steady level of energy, avoiding these energy falls. Also, if you're feeling a little tired and depressed, do exercise! This seems against-intuitive, but going for a walk or running for 30 short minutes can really get your body moving and aerate your mind.

As I said, a healthy lifestyle is very important to develop a positive mindset, but it is also one of the hardest to follow, it requires a lot of discipline.

2. POSITIVE PERSPECTIVE (see the bright side)

Something it is vital to cultivate a positive mind to see the good side of life. People generally tend to increase the negative situations and diminish the positives in life. This happens when we put ourselves always in the front position or make ourselves centre stage to get attention when in reality we should put ourselves in the shoes of other people.

What we're trying to do here is to balance the scales. You will be surprised that how often things that we considered as impossible at one time were doable at the end. Our positive attitude towards the situations and things help us eliminate the negatives and give us self- confidence to conquer it.
The next time you are facing a problem, big or small, take a step back from the situation. List the positive and negative points. Try to list three things you could do to turn the negatives into positives.

For example, imagine asking a promotion at work, but your manager refused to give you a promotion. Of course, the downside is that you have not got your promotion. But what are the positives? Check with your manager and ask why this offer was refused. Try to understand his point of view. May be you lack certain skills or you lacked to match on his expectation list. Alteast, now you have a clear road where you should work on, in the next year to get the promotion. This information is very important - you got an objective answer on the future of your career. Now, you can work on changing the negatives into positives.

See the bright side, you can gain experience with each event / situation and use it enthusiastically to move forward instead of constantly thinking about it, complain and regret.

3. GRATITUDE (for you and for others)

Being grateful for what you are, for your life and to others, is also a key to staying positive. This can really help you stay focused on the positives in your social interactions and in your life.

Be grateful that means you know what you enjoy. The past is the past, and there is nothing we can do to change it. Remembering the negative experiences and mistakes of the past is useless – it will do nothing but depress you. Focus on what you have today. Look at where you are in life. Instead of focusing on the opportunities missed in the past, look at what have achieved, all your successes, people who support you, the sources of happiness in your life right now. This includes almost everything: your job, your friends, your family, your goals ... everything.

Another important point is to show that you value others. If there is someone in your life who has a positive influence in your life, either a mentor or someone who supported you in difficult times, or simply one of your best friends: tell him that you value him! You could invite that person to dinner, see a movie, and offer her a small gift. You could just write a card or a letter and let him know that you appreciate what he is or what he did for you. All these options form a very strong gesture, and make you and your friend happy. It is very effective to develop a positive attitude.

4. SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT (Positive creates positive)

One of the most important points is your social environment. It is common to say "you are what you eat", and it's true: if you eat healthy, you will be healthy, you eat fat, you probably end up overweight.

Something else is very important, the people with whom you spend your time plays a very big effect on your mood and attitude. That's right, negative people tend to hang out with other negative people. They will clutter negative thoughts and create a negative atmosphere. They will tend to lower your self-confidence.

If someone gives you that kind of feeling, then you should consider spending less time with him. Even if you want him to grow or think positive, he won’t as it always one will to change first only then other people can help them.
The important thing to remember is: spend time with positive people, you will become more positive. This will influence your character and attitude.

5. YOUR MOOD

Moods tend to be uncontrollable, and are vulnerable to the famous vicious circles. One reason why some people adopt a negative attitude, it's because they are already in a negative mindset, and this mind-set starts destroying them. Frequent mood swings tends to make you intolerant and easily lose temper.

Doing yoga and breathing exercises help you overcome these frequent mood swings. You start controlling your mind and heart gradually and that also develops a positive energy within you.
Try looking at the bright side of things. Do good things to feel good. Your attitude towards life defines your life.

Be Happy! Stay Positive! Keep Smiling!

Effective ways to overcome anxiety and fear

Anxiety is a phenomenon that is materialized by speculative fears, fears of personal development.
This psychological condition leads to doubt in one’s ability, and also limit opportunities to socialize and eventually it take over our rationality.
It is easily identified by irregular sleep and disorders of food, among many others.
Anxiety is natural reaction that you potentially face when you perceive a threat or fear to do something, it can be prevented through relaxation and personal reflection.
Anyway, this invisible burden corrodes many people who want to get rid of this for once and for all.
Here are some tips to achieve this.

1. Limit anxiety by adopting a healthy lifestyle

If anxiety is most often based on irrational fears and unconscious mind, it can be limited or contained by simply changing your habits.
You fear that if you make a public appearance then it would be bad choice and you would spoil your image, or you fear that someone follows you when you get home… you cannot let this anxiety rule your life and limit you activities.
One of the simplest solutions is to understand the personal life style. Focus your mind on a lifestyle that promotes a balanced and healthy body.
To do this, it is recommended to exercise regularly.
When you exercise and play outdoors, you sweat yourselves and free your mind, it helps you eliminate stress and it also helps is sleep disorders.
When we spend a lot of our energy in playing outdoor or doing exercises, than we are tired in a good way.
It is advisable to indulge in an activity that requires concentration and physical exertion such as tennis, weight training, or swimming for example.
When you return from work or complete all the household chores then it is best time of day to expel all your negative feelings by doing exercises.
This allows a radical break with the stress of your job and enjoys a real relaxation time afterwards.
After returning home, it will be time to take a shower. It’s not only a matter of hygiene but also a process to fight your anxiety. Feel free to take your time while taking shower, focus on the sensation of water drops on your body and close your eyes to relax your mind.
You will eventually realize that these are small reflexes that will improve your overall feeling and ultimately develop a sense of general well-being.
Lack of sleep is another factor that can increase anxiety in daily life.
The sleep of less than eight hours should be avoided. As you get old these sleep disorders worsens.
Apart from this, keep a check on your diet, what you eat also affects your anxiety levels.

Avoid eating too much fat, especially before you go to bed and think about eating fruits and vegetables to ingest the vitamins that your body needs to be functional.
Alcohol, cigarettes, joints (or other drugs) are obviously not recommended if you suffer from anxiety.
If you feel that taking drugs or alcohol will help you forget your worries for hours then you are absolutely o the wrong path. As soon as you are conscious these feeling will reinforce and it will also lead to addiction, which will eventually mar your health.
Lovers of coffee will be disappointed, but caffeine is also a factor of stress and can lead to panic attacks.
If you want to drink you can drink Rooibos (also called red tea), free of any harmful substance.
And most importantly, at any cost you should not refuge in the comfort of your home to fight against anxiety.
Your social life is a decisive element in regaining control of your emotions.
Get out, see the world, do party (without excess of course), to benefit from a consistently solid emotional support, which will limit your vulnerability of fears buried deep within you.

2. Psychological support and cognitive behavioral therapy

Cognitive behavioral therapy is done on the advice of a psychologist and is for people who are at the extreme of the anxiety levels and are unable to overcome their anxiety.
Anxiety is most commonly due to deep unconscious fear, this method aims to highlight the source of your discomfort.
Identifying your anxiety will then be the study of bodily symptoms that occur in situations identified as stressful.
In short, you have to tell your fears to a specialist and he can define the origin of it, and all this is done in a secure environment.
In addition to these scenarios, cognitive behavioral therapy will offer psychological support that will allow you to meet other patients, victims of the same anxieties, who will share their experiences and progress for the greater good of the group.
Within weeks, you will take control of your emotions and learn to master your fears, in that you will also know which situations or phenomena promote their appearance.

3. Is it necessary to resort to drugs to treat anxiety?

The question is obviously rhetorical than anything else.
There are many kinds of antidepressants or other beta-blockers, but it is impossible to consider locking yourself in a chemical straitjacket for the rest of your life.
Thus, if treatment is there, be sure that it is done for a short term.
Some people are reduced to taking pills to sleep and wander more than they live.
You'll understand that that I am not in favor of a systematic medication.
Finally, note that treating anxiety with drugs have significant side effects, such as drowsiness, loss of appetite, or a relative impression of not feeling anything at all, which can hinder the perception that you have your family .

4. And if the plants could reduce your anxiety?

Going homeopathy way? Some plants used in herbal teas or granules are famous to calm body and mind.
The efficacy of herbal medicine is not yet objectively demonstrated, however, be careful not to exceed the prescribed doses.
Do not mix different medicines either.
If you are under antibiotics, do not risk unforeseen reaction taking such drugs.

5. Alternative methods to regain serenity

Anxiety has a psychological origin, it seems only natural way to limit its effects is to turn to relaxation and meditation.
Thus, activities like yoga and even some martial arts based on the search for inner peace and concentration can help you chase your fears by offering new approaches to your inner being and its resistance to external factors.
Simple tools such as breathing, muscle relaxation and guided images, give you the keys to overcome your fears and you manage to "escape" the pressures of you daily tasks.
You can also learn to visualize the physical signals of occurrence of stress to prevent the rise of anxiety by focusing on your heartbeat, your breathing, or tension from your muscles.
Finally, some people question the effectiveness of traditional western medicine and rely on old practices of several centuries as acupuncture that stimulates the nerve centers and allow an overall relaxation, physical as well as psychological.

Anxiety is not a weakness.

Your psychology simply reacts to pressures when it in contact with the environment.
Living with a perpetual fear of what might happen next or what might happen in future, or fear of never achieving your goals leads to a significant limitation of your inherent potential.
You cannot ignore it and you live each passing day in fear.

Do what you feel confident about first this will help you gain confidence. Replace your negative thoughts like – I cannot do this, I fear doing this, I might not be able to complete this..Feed yourself with “I will” and “I can”. In tense scenarios think, what would happen in the worst situations? In most of the cases you will find an answer that your thoughts or fears are baseless when compared to results of “worst situation that can happen”.

It's all in your mind so make yourself strong, stand for yourself. It’s your life and its valuable, do not live in fear. You can overcome this, feed yourself with positive thoughts every morning. See the good things happening around you. Remember no one is perfect, you won’t die of your mistakes. Mistakes are good, learn from them and do better. Believe in yourself, tell yourself that you are going to do well.

Start with one thing a day, whatever you fear of or you think that you won’t be able to do it. Do it in isolation to start with. Do hell with society and peer pressure. You are unique and important.

Tell me in the comments below, what do you fear of and how can I help you with a specific question about anxiety?

Comfort zone: How to get out and what are your limits?

What is it that your comfort zone? Why should you know this important concept and ... more importantly: how to learn to get out of your comfort zone?
Before getting into the thick of it and put it on the test bench, I would first like to invite you to a little imaginative work. Ready?

You are now comfortable at your home, with all the facilities. You can imagine that there is a giant bubble of 1 km in diameter that covers your world. And imagine your home is the centre of that bubble and this bubble limits your movements in this small area. You know every inch of it, you feel quite comfortable in this bubble, everything is known to you and everything outside this bubble is a foreign land for you.

Sometimes you try to look that what is behind the limits of this bubble, but the wall of the bubble being opaque, it is difficult for you to see beyond bubble walls. However, there is a personal conviction that the unknown world outside the bubble is not so safe, it looks dangerous to you.
Now imagine that, overnight, the size of the bubble starts to increase up to twice its original size. Twice more space, twice more freedoms than before. But also ... twice the dangers ... apparently ...
With great excitement and a certain apprehension, you decide to discover the new world that awaits you. Once you are there, you will quickly find that the danger is far less than what you have imagined. Moreover, it is virtually nonexistent. However, looking at the scope of the new domain, you find it difficult to restrain yourself to enjoy the prospect of new opportunities and discoveries which are now available to you.

However, although larger, our bubble still exists. Gradually you will discover every inch of the new domain, you will find your new limits, you will gradually start feeling comfortable in the walls of a bigger bubble. And you will once again find yourself in the same position, behind the opaque walls there is still an unknown world for you.

A question to be asked now: how do you define what is hidden beyond the wall?

A new unknown and dangerous land, an even larger playing area, a paradise to be discovered?

What is the comfort zone?

You'll understand that the bubble which I spoke earlier is our comfort zone. A universe with which we are familiar but beyond the bubble everything is unknown.
To give you some concrete examples for “out of comfort zone”  would be:

- Move into a city or a country that is totally foreign to us
- Address a (an) unknown in the street while it is not our practice
- Learning to drive for the first time
- Discover a totally different professional universe
- Being alone in a night filled with unknown
- Make a first public presentation in front of hundreds of people

You will notice that in all the selected examples, we find similarities: the unknown novelty, discovery, and the "first time".
When our limits start emerging it starts defining our comfort zone.
Coming out of comfort zone is pushing our limits.

But what is the point that risks our safety and exposes us to danger?
Between bubble and freedom

Returning to our little bubble, throughout the story you knew very well that there is a hidden universe behind domain boundaries. You were clearly aware of the danger that was there. But you are always scared about it.
The unknown is scary because it is unknown to us!
The glass bubble represents your comfort zone, and the size of bubble is defined by your fears. Behind the bubble is unknown.

To free ourselves of this bubble we need to expand our spirit. The possibilities are bigger and more diverse. Imagine is your bubble of 1 km diameter is now of hundred kilometer.. or even bigger a thousand kilometer. Can you imagine the possibilities and options now?
Come on, let's be crazy now and imagine that this bubble encompasses our entire planet. What are the opportunities now!!
Our freedoms are thus linked to the size of our comfort zone. The bigger our comfort zone the bigger are the possibilities.
Now, how to expand our comfort zone?

Dreams and limits.

To enlarge our bubble, our comfort zone, it simply to push our limits. Simple right?
We've seen everything that extends beyond the bubble seems to be dangerous, that's really the case or is it not. The unknown scares us, it leaves us as an explorer venturing into a thick jungle with dangerous animals.

However the reality is that our natural reflex makes our fears much exaggerated than they actually are. Just remember that when the first time the bubble grew, the new land which was unknown to you before is now known to you, the space which looked dangerous before is now no more dangerous. The land which was unknown is now your new comfort zone.
Take a moment to explore your past experiences and look for moments in your life when you pushed your comfort zone (your first job, your first driving lessons, your first time away from your family, your first kiss ...).

You always have been pushing your comfort zone may be small bubbles inside a bigger bubble. Pushing our limits is the essence of life. To keep life moving we need to push our limits. First day to school, a child pushes his comfort zone of his mother’s lap and a new world waits for him. First day at office after your college, you pushed your limits. Was it that dangerous?
Moreover, what about now?  What seemed insurmountable, or at least was a great test at one time has become part of our lives. Through our experience, we have expanded our comfort zone.
So seriously think about your dreams, your desires and fears ... that prevent you from achieving them. You are there! You found the boundaries of your comfort zone, your dreams are just behind your fears.

We now know, outside our bubble, things are much less formidable than it seems. It now up to us to push the limits of it, a little courage and boldness to face our fears, it's just what we need.
Just a little courage will finally open the world to new opportunities that were previously unimaginable.

Remember – Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. There are lot of adventures out there. Fight your fear and do it anyway. There is a new comfort zone outside your comfort zone. If you want something in your life that you never had, then you need to do something that you have never done before. Push yourself because no one is going to do it for you. Our comfort zone obstructs our growth and learning opportunities.

Tell me in the comments below.. What's your fear that restricts you in your comfort zone?

6 reasons why you do not achieve your goals

You set your goals but somehow you are unable to achieve them?

In this article I will introduce you 6 reasons why you do not achieve your goals. Most likely at least one reason will apply to you.

1. You give up too quickly

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up.

Premature leaving is the most common reason why people do not achieve their goals.

The people I most admire are the ones who have very much patience..They have the endurance for the unfortunate relationship, that stupid job, financial problems, the futility of their own life, etc.

These people - maybe even you - have an enormous perseverance to persist such states.

But when it comes to your own goals, many people tend to quit prematurely.

You can be demotivated by setbacks and failures. Failure is a part of the process to achieve your goals, especially while dealing with problems we face many difficulties and tend to quit in between.

There will always be stumbling blocks on the way of your destination that you need balance upon.

But this is precisely the difference between successful and unsuccessful people.

Successful people make the mistakes but they cope up with setbacks.

They do fall just like us – even sometimes very hard – but they get up again!

That's what you need to do if you have not reached your goals. Cope up with setbacks, make mistakes and learn from them. Never give up! No way!

I really read a lot of success stories and get inspired by them. Just about all of these people have one thing in common.

They have the necessary endurance and the will to achieve their goal. Whatever it takes to achieve their goals.

This is because these people are convinced to achieve this goal.

As the saying goes: They do their thing!

To achieve ones objectives, one should be able to keep the course and not go astray. The road to success is never straight.

There will be many curves ... sometimes you may even find yourself running in circles.

Mountains will appear in front of you and will block the view of your target. The path will be blocked by many obstacles ... But the strong will, the conviction and the necessary perseverance will bring you to your destination eventually anyway.

Premature abandonment is the most common (and, unfortunately, the most fatal reason), why people do not achieve their goals.

2. You have set the wrong target

Here is a guide to setting goals properly.

Lack of motivation, not having the will to achieve your goal is possible signs that you are heading the wrong target. Is it really your goal? Or it might be one of someone else? Your partner, your parents or  your boss?

You must represent your goals downright!
The fire in you must burn to achieve the goals, If there is no fire within your to achieve the goal then you have set wrong targets for you.

Some parents want their son to be a doctor, lawyer or engineer.
These goals are not difficult to achieve, but since this is not his goal, but his parent’s goal, one finds it very difficult to achieve this.  Even if somehow one manages to achieve these goals, it will not satisfy him.
A goal always has to match your own values.

You have to imagine your values as a compass that sets your directions in life.

But if your compass pointing north, but you sail westwards, then you will never arrive at the right destination...

... So you should be able to identify your own objectives. Ask yourself the following questions:

Will this target make me happier?
Will it fit my values?
Is it really what I want?
Can I really think of it myself?

Your goals are within yourself, you will have to find this on the basis of your values!

3. You do not Act

You know what are your goals?

You also know how to achieve it?

Wonderful!!

But if you do not act, you will never achieve your goal.

Most people are afraid, afraid to fail, so let it be.

I am not good enough.
I cannot do it.
I do not deserve it.
If you believe that you cannot achieve your objective and does not deserve success, then you will never reach your destination and will not succeed in life.

You must be 100% convinced that you want to be successful.

Believe in yourself, your abilities and talents.

Do not move it to tomorrow, do something every day to meet your goals.

4. You have no strategy

If you set yourself a goal, one must also know how you want to achieve it.
Failing to plan is planning to fail.

How will I get there?
When should this task be done?
What do I need to complete it?

You should have a plan A and an alternate plan B or C in some cases. If one plan doesn’t work, do not change your goal but switch to an alternate plan. If you do not plan at first then you man panic if one of the ways won’t work and it is a high chance that you may quit because of that.

Through a plan you will always have the structure in mind and know what comes next ... what are the next steps... when they will be introduced.

5. You have unrealistic goals

To set big goals is good, but they still need to be "visible" anyway. Your goals should be SMART – specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely.

You cannot expect a baby in one month even if you put 9 men at work. Do not make goals that very unlikely to achieve.

Your goal should be not be so hard and big that you lose motivation when it seems too big and therefore unattainable.

It is quite unrealistic, if I currently earn just 300$, but wants to be a multi-millionaire in 6 months.

But if  I give myself 10 years, then that is a lot more realistic.

6. Looking  for excuses

"I've tried everything, but it does not work!"

Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb, was asked how it feels to have failed  thousand times. He replied:

I failed not thousand. I have thousand successful ways how not to light a bulb.

How many times does Edison failed, that does not matter now. It’s a success story being a long failure story.

Fact is, he tried over and over again.

Try, try ... There is a solution for every problem, you must do whatever it takes you to get the appropriate results.

You cannot have tried everything, it is guaranteed that there is always something you have not tried yet.

You need to overcome your self doubt: Here is HOW.

In a society that always offers us more opportunities, it's nice to have plenty of choices.
Well no! A new plague made its appearance that compromises our actions and that’s doubt.
Every moment in our lives, we make choices. The most futile thinking in choosing one’s destiny, we are constantly called upon to make decisions.
Choosing a professional career, choosing where to live, relationships, what to eat, where to go, what to wear..in short in every moment of our lives we are making some choices.
And each time there is doubt, ready to take advantage of any loophole to prevent us from acting.
Uncertainty is not an evil in itself.
If we act without doubt, we would be negligent of failure. The real problem is when doubt prevents us from acting.

Do you know this famous paradox?
The paradox of Buridan's ass

There is a hungry ass and he finds a bucket of water and a bucket of oats equidistant from himself. Paralyzed, he wonders if he should start with his thirst or satisfy his hunger. His dilemma ends when he died of hunger, thirst ..and indecision.

This is the perfect illustration of the consequences of our inability to decide.

Let me give you examples of situations experienced when we question ourselves:
Let’s say that you are going to meet a person that you like
The internal dialogue that would occur is:

"I want to go talk to him/her. But this is perhaps not the right time? "
"And what will I tell him/her? "
"I will go and see what happens ... ah, but what if it goes wrong? ... "
"Well anyway it's too late ..May be next time." And next time .. the same story.
When you think to change job
"I want to change but I do not know. "
"I'm afraid of the unknown, of losing my ‘comfort zone‘ "
"Finally I want to change but without taking risks… "

At this level all the disadvantages of a future job potentially will be amplified.
From here, you either give up or you stay backwards to finally let fate decide your future. You sabotage your chances of success.
And as always, you will eventually streamline consequences.

A problem of Ego

When we are born, we do not have this problem of ego that always makes us doubt everything.
This is bad behavior, just like so many other bad behaviors we learn.

Whether you plan to succeed or not, you're right.
- Henry Ford

Not Displaying "self-confidence", you develop the false belief that you are not up to par.

For example, if you are attracted to a person and you do not dare to talk to him/her, it is primarily a problem of your ego. You do not feel as you are able to handle the situation. And you are not able to effectively manage it.

What’s the remedy for doubt?
There is no unique solution this. I offer one that is the most proven one.

Prepare for the worst and do the best.

To some extent, I believe in the Law of Attraction. We attract what we are focusing.
As I address to all who practice religiously pessimism.
The false pretext is: "If I expect the worst, I'll never be disappointed is not necessary."
This is in my opinion the best way to lead a life without ambition or taste.
I have long practiced this doctrine and it works. It is precisely a sad abandonment to a dull vision of the world where despair meets. Every day is realized as the "self-fulfilling prophecy" we choose.
Should we then still expect the best with the risk of being disappointed? To choose, I would say categorically YES.
But there's no real disappointment.
This is the subjective interpretation of an event to which we relate as negative feeling.
If you get to interpret this disappointment or failure in a positive way, you are a winner every time.
There is no failure. There is a wonderful experience from the lessons we draw :)
This is much more than a positive attitude. This is an optimistic frame of mind and winning.
This is what develops self-confidence and eliminates the doubt.
Whatever happens, I know I will learn or manage to do better
Resume our previous examples
Going to meet a person that you like:
Going to talk to the person you like, no matter, what would be the result of the interaction you learn something from it but first be yourself.
Imagine the worst that can happen: He/She rejects you violently. Or the worst of the worst: She/He ignores you sarcastically (believe me ignorance is the worst contempt).

Yes I know it hurts our ego. So... ?

Is this something so strong to fundamentally change the person you are?
I'll spare you the different attitudes to adopt in this situation. This will be the subject of a special article.

The fact is, as you pass the shock of the moment, you will forgive. No person has died or rejections.. it just happens in the romantic  fictional tragedies :)
Give yourself the desire to act;)
Think (not too much) and act positively (much).
What benefit will you draw? What a great accomplishment, self-transcendence will you achieve?

Change job:

What are the risks to (make the decision) to change job or better become your own boss?
Your new job or your new business might not work.
You and your family might find yourself without the means to support yourself.
Seriously, we are fortunate to benefit from beneficial aid in such cases. Sure, you could lose  (temporarily) your comfort zone.
But once you survive this experience, you would learn to do more with less.
Now think rather that you might succeed.
You'll understand when you make a decision, go there without flinching.
Prepare to be able to face the nightmare scenario but still perform the best.
Remember that in 99.9% of cases, it is better to make a bad decision than to not make a decision.

Remember doubt have killed more dreams than any failure. Everything you ever wanted in your life is just one step outside your comfort zone. Self - doubt kills your creativity. At the end of life you will regret more about the things you haven't tried because of your doubt than the things you tried but failed. Your doubt about a task makes it impossible. Everyone has doubts but do not let your doubts influence your plans. Make your statements from 'I wish' to 'I Will'.
